Devina Parra has over 18 years of hair expertise and has an established clientele in Scottsdale, Arizona. Devina has served hundreds of clients with varying face shapes, hair densities, textures and lengths. Some of Devina’s clients travel from all over the country just to have their hair done by her. Devina studied at Allure Beauty College in Tucson AZ and she continued her education at Toni and Guy Hairdressing in Tucson to become a hair-cutting specialist. Devina learned precision hair cutting starting at the foundational level and progressing into more advanced, creative cutting techniques. She has continued her hair color education by attending the hands-on Balayage Summit and the annual Energizing Summit hosted by The American Board of Certified Hair Colorists. Devina has participated in numerous hair shows and has been trusted to do celebrity, Rita Wilson's hair for Celebrity Fight Night. She has produced and taken part in several photo shoots specializing in hair. In recent years, Devina has studied under renowned educators, Nicolas Roach from Bumble and Bumble, Oscar Bond from Lanza Intl, Brian Redman from L’Oreal and Kien Hoang from Oribe, Christopher Dove formerly of Wella. In order to keep up with the latest trends and styles, she has traveled to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco for education classes and has studied under stylist’s from NYC. Devina has been inspired by the influence of decades past and their impact on our styles today.
ABOUT
Courtney Hurst has been a behind the chair stylist for 4 years. She attended Penrose Academy here in Scottsdale where she received some of the best education. She has attend classes taught by many known hairstylist such as, Oscar Bond, Bronwen Robinson from Bumble and Bumble, Victor Star from Bumble and Bumble, and many more. She has participated in events for Bumble and Bumble NYC, and has been able to attend classes at their home base in Manhattan, New York.
Courtney started her career in Flagstaff, Arizona where she was born and raised and built up a solid clientele. She worked at Instyle salon inside JCPenny where she advanced her skills by learning new techniques, Matrix Color line, and Redken products. In August of 2018 Courtney decided to take a leap and move back down to
Scottsdale, Arizona where she was connected with Devina; and has now been assisting for over a year.
Looking to build a clientele here in the valley, Courtney has advanced her skills such as baylayge, ombre, woman's cuts, men's cuts and extensions, along with working with Wella color and Kevin Murphy products.
